Shamit Khemka (the CEO and Founder of SynapseIndia –one of the leading offshore service providers located in India) is one such man who is ambitious and had set his goals at a very young age.


While still pursuing graduation, Shamit Khemka had decided that he would step into entrepreneurship. This highly ambitious fellow came up with his first venture Pharos Infotech in 1994 – soon after completing his graduation from St. Xavier College. Pharos was the first dotcom to introduce BBS with email in India and that was much before the advent of VSNL’s internet service. However, this was just the first round of the entrepreneurial journey of Shamit who soon came up with Sampatti.com – the first ever real estate website in India. Synapse India is the third and most recent venture of Shamit.
